ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

OCTOBER 13, 2010

6:00P.M.          Called meeting to order. Present: Richard B. Gorden,

                        Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J. Mazur.

1.   The Board reviewed and then signed four original copies of a

      contract with Mayflower Valuation, Ltd. for data re-inspection

      services.

2.   The Board reviewed but did not act on an abatement application

      for an FY 2010 supplemental tax on new construction.

3.   The Board read an information request from the Bureau of

      Municipal Finance Law related to a request by our Board for

      special permission to abate under the authority of M.G.L.

      Chapter 58, Section 8. The Board compared this request with

      a similar preliminary version of the request.

4.   The Board reviewed and then signed a response to the Bureau

      of Municipal Finance Law’s request for information.

5.   The Board reviewed proposed residential changes to

      update our assessments for fiscal year 2011. The Board also

      examined sales ratio studies for single families, residential

      condominiums and vacant land. The Board then gave their approval

      to the proposed residential changes to update our assessments

      for fiscal year 2011.

6.   The Board plans to hold their next Board meeting on Thursday,

      October 28 at 7:15P.M.
